It’s that time of the year again where all the Apple crazies come out of hiding: Apple are due to release their upcoming iPhone 8.
But if recent rumours are to be believed, this latest news is going to seriously infuriate diehard Apple fans.
While the original plan was to release the iPhone 8 in Australia in Spring this year, a report has been going around suggesting Apple may be pushing back the released until at least 2018, according to Business Insider.
The report, taken from news site ValueWalk and cited by analysts at Deutsch Bank, notes that while the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus are due to arrive in September ’17, insiders from Foxconn – the company that manufactures Apple phones – don’t believe Apple will be placing orders for the iPhone 8 anytime this year.
However, Business Insider notes that any delay from Apple releasing the iPhone 8 would be “surprising” and “unlikely.” But since Deutsche Bank is standing firm on these rumours, who knows what’s going to happen.
