There’s no doub Rocky is a classic. Most of us grew up dreaming of defying the odds or at the very least punching slabs of meat in our local butcher. But it’s taken 40 years after the release of the first film for Sylvester Stallone to show never before seen footage.
Taking to Instagram, Stallone shared with his fans a rare picture of deleted scenes from the movie. Unfortunately Stallone also mentions that all of the out takes had been accidentally destroyed by the studio.
“Rare deleted scene from Rocky,” Stallone captioned the photo.
“Unfortunately the studio burned all the outtakes by accident and only a few pictures remain. This is the moment before Rocky and knocks out Dipper (played by the excellent Stan Shaw) who threatens him and took his locker!” KEEP PUNCHING MY FRIENDS.”
