If you're unfamiliar with the DC Universe, here's a quick backstory on Two-Face: During a court case, Attorney Harvey Dent is scarred on the left side of his face after mob boss Sal Maroni hurls acid at him. His burns send him insane and he ultimately becomes the villain Two-Face.
According to reports, Two-Face won't make an appearance until the planned sequel. However, Harvey Dent, the Gotham City District Attorney will feature in "The Batman'.
With nothing confirmed, McConaughey faces stiff competition for the role. John David Washington is also a chance.
Other exciting inclusions in the franchise are Paul Dano as The Riddler and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman. Meanwhile Planet of the Apes' director Matt Reeves is behind the camera.
