There’s A New DIY Penis-Enlarging Trend And Experts Warn It’s Quite Dangerous

Who isn’t insecure about their little Johnson? After all, the size of ol’ mate is all people ever talk about. But we don’t recommend following what a bunch of fellas over at Reddit did.

It’s called ‘Jelqing’ and experts warn this dangerous new home-procedure isn’t a safe way to get a few extra inches.

‘Jelqing’ is when you repeatedly stretch your penis while it’s semi-erect. The thought-process is that stretching will cause a tear in the penile tissue with eventual scar tissue making it look bigger.

Although some from the online community suggest it’s working, speaking to MailOnline, a medical expert warns the the DIY job could do more harm than good.

“Those repeated, traumatic movements can translate into scarring, but can then translate into Peyronie’s Disease, where you form a plaque, that can be associated with erectile dysfunction and pain as well,” says urologist Dr. Jamin Brahmbhatt.

Yup, it can make penetration extremely uncomfortable.

“It’s a complete waste of guys’ time,” Dr. Brahmbhatt adds.

“It can be very painful, and sometimes the scarring can take three to six months of even a year to build up for you to notice the change.

“So you may think you haven’t seen any negative side effects, but it may just take some time.”
