Best News Today: Height Actually Doesn’t Matter To Girls, According To New Study

“What do you call a guy less than 6ft? Friends.” How many times have you heard that dig? But thanks to new research, you can rest easy. Recent findings suggest that height actually doesn’t matter to a girl so it’s time to ditch the Cuban heels.

According to a global survey conducted by Dating.com featuring 5000 males and 5000 females, aged between 21 and 50, the majority of women suggest that height doesn’t play that big a part.

The study saw some other interesting revelations:

  • 68 per cent of women said they find shorter men attractive.
  • 82 per cent of women said they would date a man that is the same height as she is.
  • 61 per cent of women say the perfect height for a man is 5’8″.
  • 40 per cent of women prefer men who are over 6ft tall.

Previously, psychologists from the University of Cambridge found that it was actually the length of the legs that played a huge part in women determining attractiveness.

And if you need more convincing that you’re height isn’t a deciding factor, findings from YouGov.co.uk found that nearly half of all women ranked personality as their number one prerequisite.

This might explain Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner or Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
