These Peanut Butter Protein Bombs Will Make Your Muscles Grow

Sometimes, you can’t stomach another post-workout shake. But you need a good dose of protein within an hour or two of lifting to optimize muscle growth. 

 

For those times, this “protein bomb” recipe is here to help. Dump all the ingredients in a bowl, stir like hell, roll the muscle fuel into compact balls, freeze them, and then chow down. Here’s the recipe. 

 

Peanut Butter Muscle Bombs

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 2 scoops chocolate whey protein powder
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp whole flaxseeds

 

How to Make It:
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients. Form into walnut-size balls. Place on a baking sheet and freeze for 2 hours.
