2017 has been a rough year for fashion (dude rompers, anyone?), but some celebrities made more fashion faux pas than is forgivable. Look, we’ve all made questionable style choices, but celebrity style crimes are especially heinous. When you’ve got a world of stylists at your disposal, there’s really no excuse for throwing on a pair of pants that aren’t the right size or a sleeveless shirt outside of the gym.

We rounded up some of the worst dressed celebrities of 2017; some of these celebrities are serial offenders, others just have a closet full of boring (or poorly fitting) clothes. Either way, these guys have a ways to go for a more stylish 2018.

Even those of us without full-time stylists can still learn a lesson or two here. And when in doubt, you can’t go wrong with a great pair of jeans or a well-tailored suit. And if you own a dude romper, now’s the time to torch it in a bonfire in your backyard.

JUSTIN BIEBER

Justin Bieber has made some interesting fashion choices over the years, but in 2017 he’s apparently moved on to too-long, untucked button-ups under suits and … headbands?

JARED LETO

The beard aside, it’s the mismatched patterns coupled with graphic tees that Jared Leto seem to love that are our biggest gripe.

MICHAEL CERA

Michael Cera’s style is, in a word, underwhelming. The combination of khakis with a plaid shirt here is more appropriate for class picture day than a celebrity on the red carpet.

JOE JONAS

This metallic jogger-suit situation looks like it belongs wrapped around presents under a Christmas tree. What can we say? The man has a thing for sparkle.

PEREZ HILTON

Perez, why the cowboy boots with the shorts?

RUSSELL BRAND

A T-shirt with the sleeves cut off + tight pants = Russell Brand’s style. And it’s not something we’d recommend.

DON CHERRY

Wearing a suit lets you make a style statement. Hockey commentator Don Cherry’s suits (and hats) are louder than his game commentary. And sometimes, that’s not such a great thing.

SCOTT DISICK

Scott Disick’s style can best be described as “I woke up late and threw on the most comfortable thing I can find.”
