This Is The Most Common Sized Dildo Women Are Using

...how do you measure up? - by Allen Pike
Ever get insecure that your package doesn’t have the size to compete with her vibrator? Unfortunately, we have some mixed news.

According to a recent survey conducted by online sex toy retailer Lovehoney, the preferred size for a dildo is 6 inches (15.24 centimetres), slightly above the average penis size of 5.2 inches (13.2 centimetres).

The bad news? Users didn’t settle for anything less than 5 inches (12.7 centimetres) which means if you’re below average you might be out of luck. This news might also go some way towards finding out what women are willing to settle for.

Interestingly, the larger sized dildos had their fans as well with over 15 per cent of consumers opting for more than 10 inches (25.4 centimetres).

Previous research has found that 52.3 per cent of women used sex toys in their lifetime. Of those who had ever used a sex toy 24.7% used them once a week, with approximately one quarter of the sample using them once a month or more or less than once per month.

Surprisingly 61.2 per cent of male Lovehoney customers owned a dildo, 10 per cent less than their female counterparts. However, we’re not sure if they were for self-use or for their partners.

And what are the most important features of a dildo? The poll found that 36.9 per cent of respondents focused on girth, 32.5 per cent needed length while 22.8 per cent were tech-savy, preferring remote-control function.

As expected, the bedroom was the main stage for dildo-use while nearly 2 per cent didn’t mind playing around “outdoors, public but discretion implied” and “anywhere she is tied up.”
