Women Are Reportedly Orgasming Just By Peeing, In The Weirdest Sex Trend Of 2018

The latest viral sex trend has arrived; women are reportedly holding a pee for as long as possible, and releasing it in what has been coined a ‘peegasm’. Fresh off the heels of the ‘coregasm’, this arguably new trend has been kind of been around forever, but only recently brought to the forefront of sexual discussion following a thought provoking reddit thread started by TheCatfishManatee.

“So my girlfriend recently told me if she’s had to hold her pee in for a while, when she actually goes to pee, she often has orgasms that she feels all the way up her spine to her head,” explained Mr Catfish-Manatee (we’re 99 per cent sure that’s not on his birth certificate). “If she does ‘reverse kegels’ while peeing, they’re even more likely to happen. She said these orgasms sometimes leave her lightheaded and off balance, and are pretty different from her clit or vaginal orgasms.”

The user then put a call out to other interneters; “Apart from being super jealous, I was curious if anyone else has had this sort of thing happen?”

Well this opened the floodgates, with hoards of women (and men) sharing their ‘peegasm’ experiences, with most referring to them in a slightly less dramatic fashion, as ‘piss shivers’.

“I get something similar, but it’s not exactly an orgasm, just a really, really pleasurable feeling,” says nottylilpearl. “I can do it by letting go for a split second and holding it in. It feels so good that I start tearing up. Then, when I finally do go pee, I get these delicious full body shivers.”

“I don’t try for them often, they mostly come on accident, but a beautiful accident at that. It normally helps if I’ve been a little horny to begin with and holding it for long periods of time,” said notyouraverageGIJane in the conversation.

The sentiment was echoed by many women on the social media platform, including quite a few men.

“As a guy it feels a lot like ejaculation,” weighed in Red_Dog93 for the lads, “but in a continuous stream rather than spurts. It’s fun to experience but I really feel drained afterwards.” Good one Red Dog.

But is a ‘peegasm’ a scientific sexual phenomenon, or simply just a great feeling of letting out a long held stream of urine, which we’ve all experienced at some point.

“I think that’s certainly a possibility,” says Dr. Mary Jane Minkin, an OB-GYN at Yale University School of Medicine when addressing the viral discussion with People. “It could feel like an orgasmic response.”

“I’m all for something that makes people feel good, but not if there are some harmful effects,” continued Dr. Minkin, while outlining the potential dangers of holding in a pee.

“If there’s an infection brewing and you’re not voiding frequently to get rid of the bugs that are potentially in the bladder, that’s certainly a potential issue,” she explained, specifically when referring to females weighing up whether to test-drive the craze.

Although not immediately dangerous, holding in a wee can lead to a host of problems, including kidney infections, an enlarged prostate (obviously male specific), or a neurogenic bladder.

“Since there are these potential issues, why not have an orgasm through a better way?” says Dr. Minkin. “Have sex…. Why not use something like that instead of waiting for your bladder to bust?”

You heard the good Doctor, get to it.
