The Rock Wants To Create A Testicle-Scented Candle, Inspired By Gwyneth Paltrow | Men's Health Magazine Australia

The Rock Wants To Create A Testicle-Scented Candle

A few days ago, Gwyneth Paltrow launched her very own vagina-scented candle via her lifestyle website Goop, quickly selling out.

Soon after the 47-year-old released the This Smells Like My Vagina candle, comedian Adam Ray challenged The Rock on Instagram to create his own testicle-inspired range and naturally, Dwayne Johnson tried to get in on the action.

“It was only a matter of time until normal scented candles would be out of style. Your move Yankee Candle Co. Time to get @therock to sell candles that smell like his balls,” Ray captioned his post.

“Price is Right ONE DOLLAR her, and sell them for $74 #vaginacandles #balls [sic].’ Dwayne, 47, played along like a good sport and joked: ‘Brother I tried to make those candles but I kept burning my balls. So I moved on to shampoo #scentofsac.”

In typical Dwayne Johnson fashion, The Rock played along with the joke, “brother I tried to make those candles but I kept burning my balls. So I moved on to shampoo #scentofsac.”

Okay…maybe we won’t ever get to light up the room with the scent of The Rock’s sack, but at least we may get to run it through our hair.

So who’s idea was it to create a candle that smells like a lady’s garden? Well turns out it was by pure accident.

“This candle started as a joke between perfumer Douglas Little and GP—the two were working on a fragrance, and she blurted out, “Uhhh..this smells like a vagina”—but evolved into a funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent,” reads the description on the Goop website.

“It’s a blend of geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed that puts us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth.”

While the candle is currently out of stock, (thankfully!?) you can join the waiting list that will notify you when it’s available once more.
