OK lads, we have a slight (major) problem. Only 34 per cent of women are orgasming from vaginal intercourse, and while this can be put down to evolution (apparently it’s more evolutionary crucial that men orgrasm, due to ejaculation being a necessary part of reproduction… makes sense), it’s not making our ladies happy. And you know what they say; happy wife, unbelievably happy life.
What’s adding to their frustration is the fact that a reported 95 per cent of men orgasm during sex. Doesn’t seem fair eh?
The damning results come from a new study published in the Archives of Sexual Behaviour, which also found that 86 per cent of lesbian women orgasmed during sex. Yikes, we may end up being redundant.
“There is a notable gap between heterosexual men and women in frequency of orgasm during sex,” summarised the authors of the study. While not great news, the study did deliver a solution, and it actually sounds kinda fun and a great way to up your sexual activity, not to mention the gratitude you’ll most likely receive.
The study identifies a “golden trio” of actions that almost guarantee your girl will orgasm. Get ready to get handsy and include ALL of these moves in your repertoire:
The Golden Trio:
– Deep kissing
– Manual genital stimulation
– Oral sex
But that doesn’t mean you have to forgo vaginal intercourse either. “Women were more likely to orgasm if their last sexual encounter included deep kissing, manual genital stimulation, and/or oral sex in addition to vaginal intercourse,” say the researchers.
There were of course some caveats, given the level of ‘difficulty’ in making your partner orgasm. If the “golden trio” doesn’t get her there (and according to the scientists it definitely should) they do offer some additional tips. According to the crew, the women more likely to orgasm through vaginal sex are “more satisfied with their relationship, ask for what they want in bed, praise their partner for something they did in bed, call/email to tease about doing something sexual, wear sexy lingerie,” or you can “try anal stimulation” and “act out fantasies”.
Getting her off has never been so fun.
