Any selfless lover that wants to keep a partner around needs to make sure they’re satisfying her needs. Unfortunately for us men, a new study has revealed the worst: women orgasm more when they have sex with other women.

According to AskMen, 2300 women aged between 18 and 65 answered intimate questions about the details of their sex lives. The big disappointment for men? Results showed that girl-on-girl proved far more satisfying than heterosexual sex. And it’s not even close – women were 32 per cent likelier to orgasm in that case.

Previous research has actually found that lesbians reach orgasms 21 per cent more than straight women.

Speaking to The Sun, Dr Kristen Jozkowski, from the University of Arkansas, believes it’s because same-sex couples are more adventurous in the bedroom.

“Sex that includes more varied sexual behaviour results in women experiencing more orgasms,” explains Jozkowski.

On the other side, author of 101 Sex Tips Rebecca Dakin says women know what women want: “Men get over-excited and go for penetration far too soon. A woman needs at least 45 minutes of foreplay before intercourse.”
