Aoki still uses challenges as a favourite source of fitness motivation. He sets marks for himself, his friends, and his fans—and holds himself accountable. "I love creating challenges to obtain and reach goals," he told the MH crew in his self-filmed video. "One challenge I recently did was to drop to 10 percent body fat. By doing that I had to change a lot of the structures of my life, when it comes to my diet and how hard I was working out."
Aoki took some time to welcome us into his home gym, which he named "Aoki's Playhouse" (complete with trampolines and a foam pit) to walk us through one of his typical bootcamp-style workouts. "Because I like to share my workouts with my fans and the people that follow me on social media, I like to do as much bodyweight workouts as possible."
Here, he leads you through a simple leg day session that doesn't require any gear. Aoki says that he wants everyone to stay active and healthy, especially if they're stuck at home—but he has one major piece of advice: "Never skip leg day."
