Anyone for tennis? Swiss watch brand Rado definitely is.

Rado is the Official Timekeeper of the Brisbane International, won in January by reformed Aussie bad-boy Nick Kyrgios who blasted his way to victory with 17 aces in the final.

But Rado’s association with the sport doesn’t end there. The brand has now released the Rado HyperChrome Match Point, a watch whose entire design is subtly inspired by tennis.

This sporty chronograph is made from plasma high-tech ceramic, a unique material that’s ultra lightweight, scratch-resistant and hypoallergenic. It’s so comfortable that you could wear it on court and forget you even have it on your wrist.

In a nod to tennis scoring, the second counter is marked at 00, 15 and 40, and the chronograph minute counter at 30.  A net-like design on the chronograph hour counter adds an extra tennis-themed touch.

The transparent sapphire case back reveals the automatic Swiss-made movement within. The case itself and the bracelet have a matte finish, while the central links and the bezel are polished. It’s a combo that reflects the brand’s attention to design while lifting the overall look on the wrist

Limited to just 999 pieces worldwide, this timepiece is set to soon have the rarity value of a calendar Grand Slam. When it comes to innovative sports watches, the Rado HyperChrome Match Point is a cross-court winner.
