But that needs to change. Rugby stars around the globe have teamed up with Movember and World Suicide Prevention Day to encourage all of us to be "a man of more words."
"During every match of the World Cup, 80 men around the world will take their own lives," Horwill starts.
"80 minutes, 80 men," Englishman Dylan Hartley adds.
"40 men will kill themselves in the first half," Shayne Byrne continues.
After revealing the sad statistics, Kiwi great Sean Fitzpatrick explains that a major reason for this is that men aren't always open to talking about the tough stuff.
"So this half time, don't open social media," the stars of the footage encourage viewers. "Don't go to the bar on your own. Talk to your mate for the full 15 minutes. This half time, be a man of more words."
