An NHL fan has cruelly pranked his partner while attending a New York Islanders game at the Nassau Coliseum in New York.
The cheeky fan was picked out on the stadium's big screen, with the expectation he would give his partner a kiss for the whole crowd to see.
However this fan was intent on turning the whole procedure up a notch. After kissing his partner, he stood up from the seat and dug his hand into his pocket, as if he had a special gift to present to her. With the whole crowd's complete attention, and his partner holding her face in excitement, he got down on his knee – and tied his shoelace.
The prank left the packed crowd in hysterics, and his partner stunned.
