It's been five years since Fast and Furious star Paul Walker tragically lost his life in a car accident. And now Paramount Network is exploring his story in a new documentary, featuring Walker's family and friends, speaking about the tragedy and his charitable work.
Featuring his siblings, Caleb, Cody, and Ashlie along with his childhood friends, the directors he performed under, and colleagues, I Am Paul Walker discusses Walker preference for family life rather than the glittering stardom that Hollywood came with.
The Fast and the Furious director Rob Cohen reveals Walker would often tell him: “My daughter, my surfing — that’s the life and that’s what I care about.”
The documentary's executive producer is Walker's brother Caleb. The film will also talk about his philanthropic work as well as the setup of his disaster relief organisation, Reach Out Worldwide.
I Am Paul Walker premieres in America August 11. A date in Australia is yet to be confirmed.
