The countdown is finally over. The 2019 Rugby World Cup is upon us and with the tournament being hosted in Japan, you won’t need to pull any all-nighters.

For the next month and a half, get ready to settle in for some champagne footy. The pinnacle of Rugby Union will stretch from September 20 right up until the final on November 2nd.

There are 20 teams competing for silverware this year, made up of four pools of five. In each group, the top two teams will advance to the knock out stage, leaving eight teams to fight it out in the quarter finals.
