Harrison Ford Credits His Diet For Ripped Physique At 77 Years Old

The veteran actor explained that he only goes to the gym “a bit,” and he mostly credits his buff appearance to a diet change that cut out meat and dairy. “[I’m eating] practically nothing,” Harrison said as the audience laughed. “I eat vegetables and fish. It’s really boring.”

As Us Weekly reports, Ford further explained that he stopped eating meat because it wasn’t good for him or for the environment. “I just decided I was tired of eating meat,” he said. “And I know it’s not really good for the planet and it’s not really good for me.”

Ford also revealed details about the untitled Indiana Jones 5 movie, which is set to premiere in July 2021. Not much is known about the movie’s plot, but Ford said that, “We’ll see new developments in his life, his relationship. We’ll see part of his history resolved. It’s a very good script. I’m looking forward to it.”

Ford is currently doing the rounds for The Call of the Wild, which will hit theaters on February 21. In one key scene in the movie, Ford is shirtless, but he told USA Today that he didn’t require any digital enhancements or movie magic to show off his buff chest. “I was fit and it was very cold water. I’m healthy, I enjoy being active and fit. I’m aware of keeping my old (butt) in shape,” Ford said.
