Men's Health: Your range is now more than just underwear. Any plans to expand it into a full line?
David Beckham: "The new pieces are perfect for warmth and comfort this winter, and for just lounging around at home. Bodywear means more than just briefs and T's, so every season the collection will develop with new key products, but it will always be bodywear."
MH: How involved are you in the design process?
DB: Really involved in terms of finding the best fit and shape, and making sure all the details such as seams and labelling are comfortable to wear. It’s also important to me that the range is affordable.
MH: Now you've retired from playing, what will be your go-to form of exercise to stay in underwear-model shape?
DB: I actually like just going for runs so probably that, but chasing around after the kids also keeps me pretty fit.
MH: What was the last piece of clothing that you bought?
DB: A new Prada suit. I love the cut.
MH: What is the most common style mistake men make?
DB: Choosing the wrong length for shorts. If you get shorts too long or too short, it all looks wrong. They need to sit just under the knee, in my opinion.
MH: It's 8pm, there's nobody in and you've got a rare evening totally to yourself. What do you do?
DB: Watch Modern Family and have a glass of wine.
MH: When was the last time you cried?
DB: After I saw End of Watch! But the last time I really cried was when my daughter Harper was born.
MH: What is the most common grooming mistake men make?
DB: Plucking their eyebrows too much!
MH: What feature do you least like about yourself?
DB: My toenails.
MH: Greatest triumph and greatest regret?
DB: Winning the treble with Manchester United. I have no regrets.
MH: Natural talent or practice?
DB: Definitely practice.
MH: Becoming a father, or captaining England?
DB: Becoming a dad.
