The Deadpool star took to Instagram to inform fans that he and Lively had given to charities responsible for delivering food to the those struggling.
“Covid-19 has brutally impacted older adults and low income families. Blake & I are donating $1 million to be split between FEEDING America and FOOD Banks Canada. If you can give, these orgs need our help,” he wrote in the photo.
“Take care of your bodies and hearts. Leave room for joy. Call someone who’s isolated and might need connection.”
But he also couldn’t resist having a cheeky dig at Aussie star Hugh Jackman, just incase his fans need another reason to get involved.
“(Hugh Jackman’s # is 1-555-????-HUGH)” he added at the bottom.
Followers were quick to praise him for his donation, suggesting he has a “heart of gold” and describing his efforts as “amazing.”
