Cadbury Are Thanking Hospital Staff By Delivering A Quarter Of A Million Easter Eggs

With Melbourne and Sydney the most affected cities, doctors, nurses, patients and family will have their sugar fix brought to them with deliveries arranged at the Sydney Local Health District and The Alfred (Melbourne).

“We know it is a really difficult time for everyone and would like to thank everyone who is staying home to help do their bit to stop the spread of COVID-19. We’re grateful to both Cadbury and Deliveroo for thinking of the staff working hard to care for our community and the patients in our care at this time,” said Dr Teresa Anderson, Chief Executive of Sydney Local Health District.

“We understand that many Australians are doing it tough. In times of uncertainty, traditions and rituals can become even more important. We want to bring the spirit of Easter to staff and remind everyone that we can create our own Easter moments at home,” adds Paul Chatfield, Director of Marketing for CADBURY ANZ

“We wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the staff who are working so hard to keep us safe,” continuedJ oe Satari, Head of Consumer Comms for Deliveroo Australia

“This is the largest giveaway Deliveroo has ever facilitated in Australia and we couldn’t be more supportive of the cause. During these unprecedented times, it’s easy to forget to celebrate the little moments, and we hope we can provide small slices of joy during the holiday.”

The mini Easter eggs will be delivered via Deliveroo, contact-free of course.
