You’re Three Times More Likely to Develop Premature Ejaculation if This Body Part is Too Big

If you feel you aren’t lasting long enough in the bedroom, your problem may have more to do with what’s above the belt than below it.

New research published in the International Journal of Impotence Research found that blokes with a waistline measurement of 102 centimetres or higher were three times more likely to suffer from premature ejaculation than their more streamlined counterparts.

What’s more, 51 per cent of study participants who were quick shooters also met the criteria for metabolic syndrome, which is defined as experiencing any three of these symptoms: high blood sugar, high blood pressure, low HDL (good cholesterol), a waistline above 102cm and elevated blood triglycerides.

Of the premature ejaculators in the study, those who also suffered from metabolic syndrome clocked an average ejaculation time of 1 minute and 49 seconds, where the thinner men averaged a more respectable 3 minutes and 43 seconds.

The researchers say it may be high blood sugar that’s doing the damage, as elevated levels can cause nerve issues and problems with nitric-oxide production – both of which can hasten ejaculation.
