How To Perform The Bent Over Row

This exercise needs to be included in all your back and bicep workouts

If you're short on time, you're going to want to make every moment in the gym count. So why not kill two birds with one stone? Fill out your shirt by blowing up your back and biceps. 

The bent over row is an exercise that can tackle the two muscles in one so MH Fitness Director Todd Liubinskas has broken down the movement to ensure your form is on point. 

There are a few things to remember before launching into the exercise.

"We want to set our foot position just in line with our shoulders," say Liubinskas.

"Coming down, picking up those dumbbells, standing tall like a deadlift. Come down, slight knee bend - we want to keep our chest maintained parallel to the floor."

"Really important through that movement, we want to make sure our chin is tucked and we maintain that neutral spine," Liubinskas adds.
