3 Steps To Finding ‘The One’, According To Barack Obama

In the weird world that is 2018, it seems that one of the best sources of love advice comes from the 44nd leader of the free world, Barack Obama. It’s a weird and wonderful time people, buckle up.

However all jokes aside, Obama does serve as a great inspiration when it comes to relationship goals. The father of two has been happily married to wife Michelle for 27 years, and is one of the few US Presidents in recent history to have stayed faithful/married/sex-scandal-free for the entirety of their marriage.

In a rare insight into one of the world’s most famous and powerful couples, former White House aide Dan Pfeiffer has shared some incredible words of advice from his former boss. Former communications director Pfeiffer has recalled the love advice given to him by Obama in his new book, Yes We (Still) Can.

The pep talk was delivered directly to Pfeiffer in reference to his own relationship, and the words assisted the staffer in assessing his future plans on his hunt for finding ‘The One’. And what is Obamas key to finding eternal love and happiness? It all comes down to 3 simple questions, according to Pfeiffer. Answer ‘YES’ to all of these questions, and you’ve got yourself a keeper in Obama’s eyes. “Life is long,” the president said. “These are the things that really matter over the long term.”

Are They Interesting?

“Is she someone you find interesting?” said Obama according to Pfeiffer. “You will spend more time with this person than anyone else for the rest of your life, and there is nothing more important than always wanting to hear what she has to say about things.”

Are They Funny?

Obama has a great sense of humour, an indisputable fact whether you’re into his dad jokes or not. “Does she make you laugh?” said POTUS.

Will They Be A Good Parent?

“I don’t know if you want kids, but if you do, do you think she will be a good mum?” Obama said to his comms director in a seemingly obvious, but often overlooked aspect to marriage.

Obviously every relationship has it’s own goals and future, and humour and fatherhood may not be on your radar, but Obama’s words hold significant weight. Whether your goals line up with Baracks or not, his words of relationship advice are much better for your future happiness than those delivered by the current administration. “Grabbing her by the p*ssy” will only leave you with a well-deserved black eye.
