Arnold Schwarzenegger Still Not Doing Great Post Surgery | Men's Health Magazine Australia

Arnold Schwarzenegger: “I Can’t Say, Even With My Positive Attitude, That I’m Great”

Arnold Schwarzenegger has made his return to social media following open heart surgery over Easter, and although the superstar is optimistic, it seems he still has a long road to recovery.

“I just want you to know that I’m feeling much better,” says Arnie in the clip, posted to Instagram today.

“I can’t say, even with my positive attitude, that I’m great. Because I’m not great yet, great is a totally different level. But I’m good. I feel good, I’ve got good care, good doctors, everything.”

Arnie appears clearly tired in the clip, and it’s not surprise given the ordeal he’s been through with his health in recent weeks. 70 year old veteran body builder, actor and former Californian Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger underwent emergency heart surgery over the Easter long weekend.

This isn’t the first time the big fella has gone under the knife for heart related issues, with a representative confirming to the LA Times in 1997 that Schwarzenegger had undergone elective surgery to replace his aortic valve.

Schwarzenegger is clearly taking his recovery seriously, including his mental health while on the mend.

“Playing a bit of chess here, refreshing my mind and my memory,” says Arnie, showing off his chess board. “We move forward.”

All the best for a speedy recovery Arnold!
